1. Introduction

Welcome to Brio Lingo! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application and web platform (collectively, the “Service”), which provides AI-powered language learning tools to help you master new languages. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. User Accounts

To access personalized features of Brio Lingo, such as progress tracking and AI-generated lessons, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Brio Lingo only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You must not use the Service to violate any laws, infringe on intellectual property rights, harass others, or engage in any harmful or disruptive activities. Our AI features are designed for educational purposes only; misuse, such as attempting to generate inappropriate content, is strictly prohibited.

All content provided through Brio Lingo, including lessons, quizzes, AI-generated materials, text, images, audio, and software, is owned by Brio Lingo or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the content solely for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

5. AI Features and Data Usage

Brio Lingo utilizes artificial intelligence to provide personalized learning experiences. By using these features, you consent to the processing of your input data (such as answers to quizzes or conversation inputs) to generate responses and improve your learning path. We do not store personal data for AI training without your explicit consent, and all data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including data related to your language learning progress. By using Language Explorer AI, you agree to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

Brio Lingo is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the past 12 months.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to Brio Lingo at any time for violations of these Terms or for other reasons we deem necessary. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately, and we may delete your account data in accordance with our data retention policies.

  • National Security Threats: Using AI in ways that threaten national security, public order, or social stability
  • Illegal Activities: Using AI to facilitate illegal activities or criminal conduct

Brio Lingo operates under Vietnam’s AI Law (effective March 1, 2026) with the following governance practices:

  • No Prior Permission Required: We do not require pre-approval to deploy new AI features, but we maintain accountability through post-deployment monitoring
